With Aarons back in contention for the home game with Manchester United, McClaren told the Chronicle: “That’s been the biggest disappointment for me, not having Rolando available.

“He’s a player who is exciting, has speed and can change a game by beating players.

“We haven’t had him this season. He needs to get a run of training days, not games.

“We have quite a few like that who are just coming back.

“We’re down to the bare bones for three games in a week.”

So is he saying, that the reason for our form is because we didnt have Aarons available??

McClaren you are a fcuking CHUMP!!!!

FCUK OFF!!!

Unfortunately and predictably we're back to where we were with Pardew. The head coach can say nought but the wrong things, the media interpretations are just going to get worse and we're back in a dead end with no way out. He turned up with fans underwhelmed, has done nothing to help things, then trots out line after line of derisible nonsense.

Fans Forum is canned, so they'll sit with the see no evil, hear no evil attitude scraping by on lies and self-serving bull. The only thing to cling on to is the fact that humans, even rich ones, are mortal so when the worst comes to the worst, Macca, Carr, Charnley and the Pieman all have to die at some point.

I don't think he blames not having Aarons. He simply seems to be suggesting we have an absolute gem on our hands who can change games, and its been disappointing he hasn't been available. To me it has been one of the biggest disappointments as I think the kid is top notch.

jut seems like another dyer to me ..impossible to keep fit or just plain unlucky ...better off round the tiddleywinks cheble

I want something to be optimistic about, so can someone give me an example of someone who spent the majority of his teens or younger years on the treatment table, then had a viable career where they fulfilled their promise?

Potentially Van Persie?

Jack Rodwell. We have been informed that he's going to reach his potential, so just sat right here on the edge of my seat waiting for it to happen <ok>

Jack Wilshere, Steven Taylor, Daniel Sturridge, Sylvain Marveaux

Oh hang on.

Well Gerrard had a lot of back problems in his early career due to growing issues. Craig Gordon has rescued his career from the ashes at Celtic.
