We didn't take our chances again tho. Palace are a good team , but it's same old for us.

We need a striker that bungs it in the back of the net, nothing to do with systems and all that crap. We know that, RK knows that, the board know it (hence supposedly trying to get one this window).

Sounded like we were extremely unlucky - but that formation from the start is an absolute monstrousity for me.

Why not be positive and actually go after teams. I hate the 3-5-2! It's so negative, and we have been awful every time we have tried it this season.
Why are the defenders so hesitant and consistently making basic errors?
Koeman has got to get these players playing, well, and quickly.

That's the same Palace side, Bolasie aside, who are currently 7th in the league, two points behind 5th, and who had an incredible away record in 2015?
Really? Fair enough, still looks arse. Delaney Ledley mutch and Campbell are not all that. Better than our mob though I guess!

Clearly I am. Perhaps you could call me a '******' or one of your other charming phrases?
You come across as a lovely fella. Judging a performance by the radio.

Saints are in trouble, it's kind of obvious now. People saying we need a striker are right but that wasn't the problem today. The build up was slow and lacked support.

Do we credit Palace at all? Decent team that. Not amazing, but decent, hence why they're 7th in the league.
They make the most of what they have and play for each other. From what I've seen of us lately we don't seem to be able to take our chances or avoid giving chances away. Obviously it's Koeman's job to get them playing again but once they're out on the pitch it's the players' responsibility to execute the plan. Too many stupid errors from everywhere on the pitch at the moment.

What if we win 6-5? Who gets the shout then?

I don't think you're allowed to change a winning team, even if one person has a total mare. Or someone else is back from suspension, or injury.

Oh don't get me wrong, I know that judging a performance on the radio is completely full of holes, but I'm trying to understand the logic behind the decisions rather than just saying "wrong and right". Interested to hear the views from those at the game. I would never use a phrase like '******' myself, if that's what you're getting at?

We are playing poorly right now, no doubt at all.

Yeah, I've got no idea how Delaney is a PL CB. But hey, he is.

(Campbell playing you can pretty much ignore. Whether it's him, Gayle, Wickham, Chamakh or Bamford who they play as their loan striker, it doesn't appear to matter to them. None of them score - someone told me that they don't have a single PL goal from open play between them this season. It's Zaha, Puncheon, Bolasie and Cabaye who do that).

I agree. The only small thing I can draw is that at least we did try something different. I know we played that against them last time, but they didn't expect it then and they may not have expected it again today. I would be very annoyed if each game we tried the same thing with the same results. I said before kick off that this was not the team I would have picked, but I can understand why it was picked.

We clearly need someone who will stick it in the net. Not just Pelle, another striker. Not just today, but the last 10 games excluding Arsenal, we should have scored a hatful from the chances we had.

Luck is a factor of our many defeats lately, other than Liverpool I've felt we deserved a point minimum each game biased opinion maybe. However you can't be unlucky every game as you keep getting turned over, at some point I guess we have to start asking real questions. Hope it all changes with 2 home wins coming up. If not and we continue how we have lately I really will get a bit squeaky bum!
