If we go on the assumption they can be used interchangeably then I did use it correctly ;)

It's also interesting that defence is considered the spelling when defensive, defensively or defensiveness all use the s instead of the c, which I assume is because of the use of both versions of the word up until the printing and distribution of standardised dictionaries?

The use of defense instead of defence however has continued consistently and increased rapidly in the age of computers due to auto corrects on so many things not recognising it as a mis-spelling due to being American or accepting both versions of the word.

Given its widespread use throughout English speaking countries I'd consider it an acceptable spelling <ok>

My apologies if that isn't of the required standard :p

"Sorry, I was wrong" would've done.

He's not **** mate he's a proven goal scorer at premier league level.

The issue is fitting him into this team so he gets those goals.

If we cant then he has to go which I think he eventually will.

Its the Andy Carroll saga mark II.

Not really cos we bought him fit and he is still fit.

Carroll was far worse. Improved as much showing the contribution he actually made.

Cracking atmosphere, gutted we fielded such a **** team. More hamstring injuries by the looks of it too? Benteke was a statue today, he doesn't run at all.

Brad Smith was lively the whole game, just needs to be a bit more bolder and take the FB's on. Enrique looks unfit, he was dead 10 minutes in.

We deserved to lose, but the replay will do absolute wonders for Exeter as a club so overall no real complaints.

Give some names then Tobes?
Any of the players who finished the game on Tuesday, wow, Tuesday.....we played on Weds and we'll play a stronger side at home tomorrow than you did away today

Milner had barely played since returning. He took Lallana and never even brought him on.......he had choices, stop denying the simple facts

What I was getting at is we spent loads on Carroll, he never fitted into the team and was sold.

Although Benteke is playing better - its the same basic problem.

Accommodating them.

So which players didn't play on Tuesday and could have played today then? Lallana played Tuesday, Milner played Tuesday.

Anymore names?

No one injured their hamstring?
Smith got cramp in his calf but was fine.

I hope we can get a result against Arsenal.

Could do with lifting things a bit which are pretty drab.

I would eat my socks if we could get hold of a fit striker who scores loads of goals.

If we had that then the rest of the team would really lift themselves.

We're working our bollox off for each goal atm.

If you genuinely think that was the strongest 11 available to Klopp tonight you're a total twonk....

There were 2 experienced subs that could have been on from the start
