Southampton host Palace this Saturday
We hope that for once we'll come out to play
Forster's returning, but, oh not quite yet,
And Mane and Wanyama have both booked their jets
To play for the biggies and earn lots of cash
A decision for some which seems rather rash
At right back for me I'd like to go Cuco
That Portuguese chap's in and out like a yoyo.
Fonte and Virgil will hold the defence
(until the 80th minute when they'll do something dense).
Berty and Tadic will storm down the left
Until we reach goal and of ideas are bereft
Up front will be someone paid to score goals
But the form of our strikers is full of holes.
In the middle we've got Prowsey, Clasie and Steve
Who'll dominate the ball and yet rarely weave
That nice piece of magic that lays on a plate
A simple tap in - a fluke would be great!
I hope that we win, but more, to play well,
This season's dross has, thus far, left us in hell.

Bit young for that, he's only 15months old!! I have said before that I'll end up being one of those Dads who takes their boy to Saints way too early n he'll get bored, but even I won't try it this early <laugh> at least another year... n even that would be pushing it :p

He'll be condemned to life of heartache & loss when the time is right :)

I might go Watford instead anyway, haven't attended a PL game for a long, long time but with them offering a tenner off (credit for that) it is tempting me!

He won't get bored. Just fill your pockets with packets of sweets and buy him a program. Worked for my lad :)

Sod the "good parenting guide" .... What do they know.

How old was he when you first took him? 2 hours a long time to sit still for him....

Saying that at the moment it seems like 2minutes is too long for him to sit still <laugh>

Four, I think. Took him and his younger sister. She was a nightmare, but gradually he started to love the atmosphere. His first away game was Molineux in 2007 aged 5. I did wonder what I'd done when we were on the concourse before the game and the fans were rather loud and boisterous. After half an hour of he game, I prayed to the footballing Saints as we were awful and drawing 0-0. I thought if we can hang on to a 0-0, it won't put him off.

We won 6-0 :)

Saganowski hat trick game :) Not a bad first away that!

N yeah I've sort of got the age 3/4 set in my mind for when he can go, as I said below, quite some time away yet, hopefully I'll be able to afford a ST by then :)

Please don't just go by age, they (we) are all different,we took our nephews nipper to St.Marys at five and my sudden outbursts frightened the life out of him.
Our own sons loved it at that age,I think you'll know when it's right.

Still some significant rain fall forecast could affect the games tomorrow, Saints might not even water the pitch for once.

Subs: Stek, Stephens, Targett, Clasie, JWP, Seager or Gallagher, Messi

I want Harry to start and playing him with Clasie leaves us a little short of stature in front of defence.
Bring the youths on when we are 3 up :1980_boogie_down:

I'm not bothered about height on DM's. The only place I care about height is keeper, centre backs and centre forward.

Don't listen to Velcro, JWP. If your lad doesn't love it straight away, get him to the doctors and get him checked out. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

2 - 0 Saints

A prediction which defies all logic given our inability to score however many chances we have, insistence on making 1 or 2 fatal defensive errors every game and talent for allowing the opposition to score every time they get the ball on target.

Spoken like a true Saints fan <cheers>
