You are right.

Nor 3 more passengers not working hard behind benteke either.

In the end arsenal on their day can destroy anyone so yes you are right if 433 with the same front 3 as last night works OK. Of course injuries are a concern.

Sorry if I'm coming over as if Benteke is our only problem and that dropping him is a magic panacea. Neither statements are true. But Benteke is the major problem of our attack, and dropping him is the best solution to that.

If that were true, then why does Klopp pick him? He does have alternatives (no alternative striker atm, but an alternative system)
When asked this question about Rodgers, the stock answer was that Rodgers was useless and couldn't see what was obvious to the rest of us.
Is this what we think of Klopp as well?
The real truth is that whoever we pick- in any part of the team- they're inconsistent. Some of the ones to get routinely slagged off on here have been present in some of our best performances and our worst, and the same is true of the ones who tend to escape criticism, by and large.
It's not about who plays, it's about who turns up.

I've argued with you on Benteke and felt that he could work for us and don't get me wrong I still think he's a very good player. I am starting to think that Klopp doesn't want him and doesn't feel he fits in with the system he wants to play. You may well be right in that his days are numbered.

If we are going to sell then it should be this Summer as his value is high and there would be a lot of interest.

I think we will need to see who klopp wants and also does benteke have the balls and fight in him. We've seen an awful lot of guys who pussy out real quick at our club.... like markovic :bandit: you have to fight to play at a big club not just run when its not all in your lap.

Still a better option for us than Origi or Benteke. In a different setup, Benteke could be best but its about what they offer LFC, they have to fit in with the other players and manager.
 
Imagine having all 4 of them fit and good to go. You need depth and variety - look at City when they had Dzeko & Negredo just as squad options.

All 4 of our strikers offer something different so think it would be daft to shift Benteke on in the summer for a no doubt £12m loss.

I think Origi and Studge are very similar bar the injuries and goal scoring of course <laugh>

you'd be raging if he was our striker and only option. like benteke is our only option now. He misses the target.

he's a hard worker, he's a decent player but this is not the lvel.
