Nah, we will just blame the clueless bloke in charge for having no tactical nounce. Sounds like he will fit in at your place though, looked good at some point, had good FM stats but in truth is pretty ****
Thought ht he was a cracking signing. Was a brilliant player but just wasn't used quite right and given enough time
rgen, you’ve made your first signing as Liverpool manager. How pleased are you to have secured Marko Grujic? Very pleased because Marko is a big talent and we’ve seen him a lot of times. When I came here, our scouts showed me some footage of a very skilled player from Red Star Belgrade. We watched it, we spoke to him, we met each other – he’s a good boy, a young boy but plays an important role at the moment at Red Star, who are the best team in Serbia. Does this suggest that the infamous committe showed Klopp a player he should sign and Klopp said ok. So not seeing Klopp bringing his own ideas yet?
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is trying to sign Neven Subotic, 27, from Borussia Dortmund while Inter Milan's Andrea Ranocchia, 27, is also a target as the Reds try to bring in a central defender. Yep, committee doing what they should be - identifying talented youngsters early. Klopp won't be suggesting players - that's not his job. He'll rely on the committee to do that for him.
I would think that he would give his opinion on some players he knows from Germany though, I would also expect him to push for any players he wants.
No I hope he would bring insider info about some German players and from the dortmund scouting network so we can widen the pool. In 2 years... sure he will have to rely on the network but right now you'd hope he has some gems up his sleeve
Klopp has already said he isn't a fan of the loan system nor having too many youth players, he prefers to keep players close where he can see them and have a smaller group with higher focus.
yes. i think in general its better than just u21 action. the club and klopp are probably a bit at odds here as someone sees these guys as a revenue stream and wants to be cheslea. Klopp got the club to drop 40 players to reduce the numbers at underage to 200. hoever if a guy is on loan and gaining some experience and you recall just to half train cos LFC are playing 2 games a week its not much use to the kid. We will have to see cos kent and ojo have been brought back and BOTH are attacking players who can play wide. Is that a co-incidence?
I'm sure he will ... Also, CONFIRMED: Tiago Ilori returns to #LFC - but Reds still in hunt for defender liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…
Good, was a pointless loan. Wouldn't surprise me to see him in the team on Friday, and hopefully gets a few chances to see if he can build on his potential or if he's just another one like Coates
