Don't be so silly. It's obvious Spurs have spent more over the last few seasons, even after Ozil, Sanchez and Cech. Wenger penny pinched for ages due to the stadium deal. Not even Spurs would put up with Bendtner as long as Arsene did.

I am pointing out that when the total is added up, both sets of figures show that Spurs have vastly outspent Arsenal. Even if there are discrepancies, they both show that overall Spurs' spending is vastly greater than Arsenal's and the +/- margin, even assuming is much bigger than the individual discrepancies show, still do not counter the overall fact that Spurs' spending is greater than Arsenals. I haven't used wages, because HIAG's original claim was based on Stan's article about manager's spending on transfers. He even admitted it wasn't about wages. Therefore we are talking about transfers.

Given that they're clearly wrong in a lot of cases and Arsenal don't reveal their figures, then they definitely could be miles out. We don't have reliable figures to talk about.
