How the hell has Rooney won England player of the year for 2015?! He got 37% of the vote with Kane getting 30%. Kane pissed all over any English player in 2015, absolute joke.
I assume that it's because he broke the record. It's like Giggs getting Player of the Year, despite not playing particularly well.
Hang around long enough and they'll give you an award, I guess.

Barcelona's ban on signing new players is now over.
They've responded by registering 77 new players. Seriously, that's not a typo.
Most of them are kids, but it shows what a farce the ban was in the first place.

Look, the longer the self-perpetuating myth that Rooney has been able to play football since 2011 is maintained by the media and swallowed by the masses, the longer Van Gaal will feel pressurised into playing him for United, and QED the s***er they will be.

An award such as this is in our best interests.

So ... Zidane is Get real Madrid manager.
For his part in the state-sponsored unsettling of Bale : Nemesis hear my call ...

Good to see both Brad Friedel and Chris Ramsey back involved in football. Brad has been appointed coach to USA Under 19 squd and Chris is back in a role he is more comfortable with, an academy role at QPR. Both of them, thoroughly good blokes, wish them well.
I was having a drink with Chris Ramsey just before Christmas, yes a really nice guy and he also said the most talented player from our academy while he was there was Ryan Mason.Glad he's back in employment.

Here’s something to feel good about:

Fabrice Muamba leads a campaign to make emergency defibrillators more accessible to more people, since their presence saves so many lives, including his. He also salutes their inventor and Spurs medical staff. "The medical staff who treated me that night were incredible and I will forever be indebted to them." He was "dead" for 78 minutes at WHL, but their skill meant he is alive and leading a great philanthropic campaign today. Talk about a great performance with everything hanging in the balance!
