I'm talking about the cost that you tried and failed to use as a wum in your original comment HIAG Now time for you to answer my questions that I've posted about what Spurs have won during that time that they've outspent Arsenal Wenger: Titles: 3. FA cups: 6. Doubles 2 Spurs : Titles: ? FA cups ? Doubles ? No shirking this time HIAG.
You''ve been "owned," mate. Just admit it. The lads on this site would respect so much more if you do.
According to you, which counts for ****. When I called you out on your transfer claim, you said 'do the stats. Wenger has spent far more than we have.' So I proved you wrong by providing the figures. Both on net spend at least up until 2014 and on overall transfer spending since Levy joined Spurs, you have outspent Arsenal and Wenger on transfers. Once again you tried to wum and you ****ed it up
So I ask you again, are you sticking to your original claim that 'Wenger has spent far more than we have' ? on transfers and if you are, then please provide the evidence. No bottling and no dumb pictures this time
Also you are still bottling my question about what Spurs have achieved during that time that they outspent Arsenal. So tell me, how many League titles, FA cups and League and FA cup doubles have your litany of failed managers achieved since Wenger came to Arsenal ?
You still haven't provided a link to these supposed figures! It would make your care at least credible if you did!...
The link is in my comment. www.transferleague.co.uk The figures I provided showed Arsenal and Tottenham's net spending since Levy arrived, during Wenger's tenure and countered HIAG's wum fail that Wenger had spent 'far more than we have' You can see both Arsenal and Tottenham's spending figures here, both gross and net spending. Since the beginning of the Premier League up until this season. http://www.transferleague.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/english-football-teams/tottenham-hotspur-transfers http://www.transferleague.co.uk/arsenal/english-football-teams/arsenal-transfers For Arsenal the figures are £541,565,000 (gross) £405,174,000 (sales) £136,391,000 (net) For Spurs the figures are £658,700,000 (gross) £499,567,500 (sales) £159,132,500 (net)
I have called HIAG out on his claim that 'Wenger has spent far more than us' and I have challenged him to tell me what a litany of failed Spurs managers have achieved compared to Wenger during that time. Thus far he has consistently bottled my questions.
I've asked you to prove the "cost" of a player, and you have singularly failed to do it. You have lost. You are a ghost on this site, Keep haunting us, by all means, but you are harmless, nonetheless.
No, you asked me to 'define the cost in terms of a player' and I told you that I used the same criteria that you used in your failed wum attempt when you made the comment that 'Wenger has spent far more than us' on the back of the article that Stan posted. I have provided figures that prove you wrong and I have challenged you to back up your claim that 'Wenger has spent far more than us' on transfers. I have also challenged you to give me the achievements of Spurs compared to Wenger, during that period where you outspent us. And you have bottled it big time
Michel Vorm: £3.5m. That's despite an ongoing transfer wrangle between Swansea and Utrecht about him being valued at £0. That's just one mistake I noticed instantly. As Arsenal don't announce their fees, I've no idea how this is supposed to be accurate. Assuming that it is though, one season of wages would instantly switch the balance to Arsenal, which shows how ridiculous this is.
Just one note, while I'm here. Transferleague was not the link in your comment, Piskie. You linked to transfermarkt. As you mentioned making calculations, I assume that you've changed sites, as it's all laid out on the one you're using now. Why the switch?
HIAG's original wum fail wasn't based on wages, it was based on the back of the article that Stan posted which highlighted the top spending managers. His assertion that 'Wenger has spent far more than us' on transfers has been shown to be wrong. If he or anybody else can provide reliable evidence that counters these figures, then post them up.
I've just demonstrated that those figures aren't accurate, so you haven't proven HIAG's claim to be wrong. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-court-of-arbitration-for-sport-a6756706.html They claim a £3.5m and that's clearly wrong, isn't it?
Apologies, the transfermarkt link was on the bottom of another article regarding Levy's spending compared to Wenger's and I had assumed it was transferleague. I didn't check that. I haven't looked in depth at transfermarkt, do their figures differ significantly from transferleague ?
Even if the £3.5m for vorm is wrong, it still doesn't make the difference between the transfer spending between Arsenal and Spurs. I have asked HIAG if he stands by his comment that 'Wenger has spent far more than us' on transfers and if he does, then to provide some evidence to back that claim up. Thus far he has bottled it.
