Finally got round to watching deutschland 83. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Dead chuffed I decided to record the whole series now.
I was in Berlin in 84 for a couple of months and it brings back many memories of how some of the people were at that time.
Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

    Anyone been watching Dickensian?

Wasn't too sure about it after reading the preview, but I do like how the characters from different Dickens novels have all been woven together.

Any fans of Silent Witness? Thought this opening two-parter was a bit weaker than normal.

Yes, not quite up to its usual standard.
On a different topic, I'm going to enjoy Victorian Bakers!!!!

I kept hearing that, so watched it for the first time late last year. I found parts of it brilliant, but I also found it a struggle to get through at times.

I just absolutely loved it all, there was another one called 'The Pacific' but I didn't like that one as much.

    Blunt Talk.

Very good series, pretty funny throughout. Patrick Stewart was brilliant. Solid 8/10.

    Also, on sitcoms.

Mid Morning Matters will be back this year for Series 2, and Nathan Barley will be back for a second series. 11 years after the first fantastic series. Both this year.

I got that impression from the trailer. It's rare to get a bad Leo film, He usually picks great films and roles.

Fargo Season 2 done. Finale was a bit of a nothing, but all the work was done in the previous episodes. Stunning Season again.
