Defence stretched there.... Crouch with the flick... Can and Lucas should have just both backed off, let him flick it and be there for the flick or bring it down.

No no point trying to challenge him for it and ending out of position
 
Stoke got done.

Good game.

I'm interested in the 433, is this allowing us to go do the job... is it Allen. ... is it milner.... or is it bentrke

Benteke should've ran a bit. I felt he let the guys on pitch down.
 
Good win! Confident performance and it was very encouraging.

Standout performers - Can, Allen and Kolo in the end.

Firmino led the line well and whilst the touch isn't there yet, his intelligence anticipation and work rate are clear to see. Hopefully he can build on this.

Considering the chopping and changing during the game and the already thin as **** squad due to injuries - was very happy with that <applause>

Some really frustrating play at times still but overall, they wanted it and didn't let up so well done

Here you are.

"He pulled out of the challenge". Apparently he's pretty bad at it as he didn't even slow down until he bounced off Allen. Who by the way wasn't in "mid dive" as he falls in a different direction than he was running. Unless Allen's mediocrity somehow defies gravity.

Agreed.

Needs quicker delivery and also composure but they did good.
