I just want us to look a bit sharper up front. If we manage to stretch the Stoke defence a bit and create a few chances we'll have done well.

I do fancy Firmino to net a goal or two tonight, based on the fact that Stoke will come out a little more than Sunderland, Watford & West Ham.

I can't wait to see.

Exciting.....

West Brom scored 2
Everton scored 3
Palace scored 2
Sunderland scored 2
Chelsea scored when they had Mourinho
Watford scored 2
Bournemouth scored

Palace, Watford & Leicester are the only teams to have scored 2 goals in a game at Stoke.

If you want the team to be built around you then you don't get to whinge about home vs away

We're supposed to be better away anyway, when the opponents have to play

Toure starts as Reds make three changes at Stoke

Kolo Toure starts for Liverpool as Jürgen Klopp makes three changes for this evening’s Capital One Cup semi-final, first-leg clash with Stoke City.
The Ivorian begins in the centre of defence at the Britannia Stadium in place of Mamadou Sakho.
There are also recalls for Adam Lallana and Joe Allen against the Potters, with Christian Benteke and Jordon Ibe named on the bench.
James Milner is among the substitutes, returning to the squad for the first time since sustaining a calf injury.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Allen, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino. Subs: Bogdan, Milner, Benteke, Brannagan, Ibe, Smith,

all fingers are crossed.

I'm really hoping they prove something here

I even hope they just show some fight and get that 0-0. anything positive.

The scary thing is our bench.

there is no CB on the bench. its milner, benteke, brannagan, ibe, smith, randall

If toure pulls up lucas will be pushed in there and what happens then? does brannagan come in? milner?

"Klopp seeking first trophy as Liverpool boss"

As opposed to Hughes as Stoke boss? Or as a manager of any club?

Stoke have been given no credit at all, whatsoever in this.

When (i hope not) they tonk us the headlines will be shock and awful and end of world.... If anything I think LFC would have doen better v city or everton.. just for some reason.

I think stoke have been up and down in the league but watford and leicester have been the big stories.

stokes main issue is their midfield is functional. cameron and whelan....

Someone must have upset Souness, pretty much had a dig at every player in the Liverpool team....

also all the press are catered to biggest audience which is us. they assume no stoke fan is listening.

this is why leicester fans were raging they got no credit.

[HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] also go for the lazy "Sturridge out injured", not "9 Liverpool players out injured"

My office got better wifi i can connect to so i'm now just using phone and sky sports app... bbc are dead... they've killed themselves

<laugh> [HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] obsession continues to escalate by the second

Earlier in the day they went with him resigning being a possible shock event for 2016, and now they're running the headline "Klopp's cracking up..."

Played better in first 3 minutes today than have done in last few games over 90
