Could simply that he isn't half as effective playing as a right midfielder- that is where Sunderland played him before he joined us and they didn't rate him there either. Absolutely- Sunderland had him at right midfield and they didn't rate him at the time. As soon as he went to right wing back for us, he was a revelation. Maybe he is just better coming onto the ball at pace from deep. Personally, I've not understood why Bruce didn't swap Elmo and Moses over because Moses has much more trickery about him to trouble defenders in tight areas, and Elmo could attack from a deeper position.

At the start of the season Bruce said he'd consider his position as long as he can put a competative side out for promotion, what happens if everyone else strenghtens with these proposed transfers and sheff wed make a push for it to add another team into the mix. IF IF we lose one or 2 and dont sign anyone major signings will he then consider us not competative and consider his position?
