Birmingham City have joined Nottingham Forest in the race to sign Sunderland winger Will Buckley.

Cardiff City striker Kenwyne Jones is set to join Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi on loan.

Blackburn Rovers are closing in on the signing of Sunderland striker Danny Graham. Poor Blackburn.

Simply? Perhaps you might consider that the interviews are mandatory, the question can't be dodged, but the answer must be very carefully considered; that is if you accept that a player laying blame on his manager would be a very serious thing.
Could simply that he isn't half as effective playing as a right midfielder- that is where Sunderland played him before he joined us and they didn't rate him there either.
Elmo's getting a bit too much **** on here, he's not been as good as in previous seasons, but he's not been a complete disaster either.

I think his performances have suffered as much from us changing from 3-5-2, as they have from anything.

Absolutely- Sunderland had him at right midfield and they didn't rate him at the time. As soon as he went to right wing back for us, he was a revelation. Maybe he is just better coming onto the ball at pace from deep. Personally, I've not understood why Bruce didn't swap Elmo and Moses over because Moses has much more trickery about him to trouble defenders in tight areas, and Elmo could attack from a deeper position.

Bruce in The Mirror...

“I keep hearing my players might be on their way out – honestly, I’ve heard absolutely nothing.

“Since the window opened I’ve spoken to Tony Pulis who is supposedly interested in one. He didn’t mention it – and I’m sure he would have done.

“I’m powerless to stop people talking about my players. I believe they must be doing something right if people are. (talking about them)

“The fact is that we are trying our wotsits off to return this club to the Premier League.

“You can never say never, obviously, but the club is pushing for promotion – so why would I want to lose my best players? It makes no sense.”

I think we're going to have to grit our teeth and watch as our rivals strengthen...Blackman and Judge would be excellent buys for Wednesday if they get them, though with Snodgrass coming back I'm not sure Judge would be a good use of money for us.

Spoken to Pulis - asking if we can have Chez back on loan?

Hopefully, and quite possibly as Pulis is allegedly looking to get Mathieu Debuchy in - he's a right sided defender, so Chezzy would drop even further down the pecking order.

I know it's been said a million times, but all we really lack is a quality striker. If we fail to go up this season the pivotal moment would be when we let Andre Gray slip away.

Depends on opinion whilst I think we're short up front I would rather have two wingers who attack rather than two wingers who defend

I've said it a lot of times recently but what's with all the whining about Andre Gray? He would not fit in our team what so ever. He'd have been a waste of money, he's a midget and has the touch of a rapist, what would you expect him to do with the catapulted service our strikers recieve?

Preston North End have re-signed Aston Villa forward Callum Robinson on loan until the end of the season.

QPR and Burnley are both lining up bids for Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury.

I may well be proved wrong and if so great, but i'm disgusted at the seeming lack of ambition at this football club. There is a huge pot at stake and to quote our glorious leader, 'if theres someone out there that can improve us we will have a look'…. well stop looking and start ****ing buying City, because as sure as eggs are eggs other clubs will overtake us and fast with what we have and the way we set out to play. Blackman to Sheff Wed guts me… ****ing hell…

At the start of the season Bruce said he'd consider his position as long as he can put a competative side out for promotion, what happens if everyone else strenghtens with these proposed transfers and sheff wed make a push for it to add another team into the mix. IF IF we lose one or 2 and dont sign anyone major signings will he then consider us not competative and consider his position?
