Nick Powell released for loan by Manchester United with Preston leading the chase…. FFS… he's just the type of forward running midfielder we need…!!!!
It's not rocket science. Wins breed confidence, breed form, breed more wins. It's actually laughable , I accept it may take a little time to get use to this division but not half way through a season , it's also embarrassing how it's a different player each week saying the same things they can't put a finger on it why performances are poor !
Signing Chester back on loan would mean the end of Davies unless we go back to a back three
Too true, Elmo is a prime example, at least Davies is professional even if he's had enough, Elmo seems to blatantly not give a **** and I'm amazed Bruce keeps picking himIs it worth keeping players who are playing half heartedly
Id rather cash in while we can and sign people who want to be here
Not convinced Elmo is putting it all in, could just be fatigued maybe due to Bruces oddball selections where certain players (Meyler) play regardless but I'm still not convincedLets clear some bollocks up, no ones playing half heartedly or not putting in the effort. They're all professionals earning a lot of money for what they do. Those who have had their wages cut will want them back, they'll also want to be playing at the highest level. That means getting this club back to the premier league or playing out their skins so a premier league club takes them on. They're not going to achieve either through a lack of effort.
Simply down to lack of effort!

Brucie would play him at rb , we can't have midfielders venturing beyond the halfway line , unless we're going to play them as a second striker !
Rubbish.Too true, Elmo is a prime example, at least Davies is professional even if he's had enough, Elmo seems to blatantly not give a **** and I'm amazed Bruce keeps picking him

When our five game winning run climaxed with the result against Boro everyone said we were a cut above anyone else in this league. Now Boro are being touted as massive favourites because wins are making them believe in themselves.
Our players haven't become **** overnight. Add a couple of good results onto the back of this one and they'll be flying again.
Again, just an opinion, not a statement of fact.Rubbish.
If you're going to write utter ****e expect to get called on it.Again, just an opinion, not a statement of fact.

You haven't called me on anything, you wrote 'rubbish' when I said I wasn't convinced about Elmo, which is hardly a mindblowing statement given that he's not been at his usual standards this seasonIf you're going to write utter ****e expect to get called on it.![]()
Elmo's getting a bit too much **** on here, he's not been as good as in previous seasons, but he's not been a complete disaster either.
I think his performances have suffered as much from us changing from 3-5-2, as they have from anything.
He should say why he's totally convinced by Elmo instead of writing daft one word comments I thinkRubbish
You and OLM are right no doubt, it's just a shame Elmo seems a bit of a shadow of himself this season for whatever reasonAgreed we should still be playing 3-5-2 with our defensive wing backs. It is the system that best suits the players we have available.
Then let's go back to a back three and use Elmo and Robbo to their full potential, get Abel and Diomande up front and that just leaves a bounty of CMs to choose from. We can do it without Chester, but what a bonus he would be.
