On current form Elmo will be no loss at all. I suspect that your point re.Elmo could be nearer the truth. If anyone wants to trigger his contract clause and Elmo wants to leave then so be it. Snodgrass is more than an adequate replacement. As for WBA or Everton wanting Elmo ? Maybe the first but no way the second one. Also after the way the Baggies have treated Chester I would be amazed if any of our players wanted to join the Pulis bore fest.
David Burns @bbcburnsy No bids for Elmo or any other player say @HullCity . They're denying stories saying West Brom and Everton have bid for Elmohamady. #hcafc
Would everybody take a nice fee for elmo, huddlestone and diame who have all played below their capable standards, hoping allam lets bruce reinvest it in the team? Snoddy straight in for elmo assists and goals aplenty in his last season at norwich Creative/goalscoring midfielder in the butterfield mould to replace huddlestone Out and out striker to replace diame who that may be god knows any lower league prospects ?
Personally, I want us to keep what we have for the season and add maybe Chester back on loan with a view to signing him in the summer and 2 strikers(one on loan). Goals win matches. Other than that we are doing OK and can get back to where we were before the last International Break. imo.
Why ? There will be plenty on here that watched the dross served up pre-kc and plenty on here that saw good football as we climbed the leagues , your point is rubbish why is it acceptable to play rubbish now with the squad we have because we was crap twenty years ago ???
^^^^^^ this is rubbish but you think what you like. Whilst our form could be better it is better than you and some others would have you think overall. Each to there own mind.
Is it worth keeping players who are playing half heartedly Id rather cash in while we can and sign people who want to be here
How on earth will we cash in on anyone who is playing half heartedly ? What club will want to pay for those types ? Yes January is for the panic merchants but let us keep it real. Would you pay good wonga for dodgy goods ?
I know and his opinion was bang on, saying that we're fine now just because we're not as **** as we were twenty years ago is a terribly weak argument.
If you think our current form is acceptable for promotion your going to be disappointed , we struggled to beat a qpr team that seemingly looked like a pub side , the current form is patchy certainly not good enough for automatic , however the performances are average to bad but it doesn't matter because we use to be in the fourth division !
You didn't read the article then with Davies saying he needs to be playing , I kinda think he pointed out he won't sign a deal unless he gets assurances he will be playing , maybe you would go all brucie on us and give him a go in midfield !
Its embarrassing for the manager when he says we haven't quite hit the heights as yet, but we are getting there; bloody hell we are half way through the season!
It's actually laughable , I accept it may take a little time to get use to this division but not half way through a season , it's also embarrassing how it's a different player each week saying the same things they can't put a finger on it why performances are poor !
