Watford score against Man City and take the lead. Now we're doing slightly better and pulling away from the bottom, I don't mind the other 2 promoted teams doing well. Be good if all 3 stay up tbh.
If ever there was a moment, Villa's season should have turned, given a boost, and gone on to start a turn around, it was that fantastic Gil equalizer yesterday. As it was, they crumbled again against a poor Sunderland team. They must be done, already.
Mbokani looked a menace again, Vladis looked like he has great touch and ball control, also confidence. I didn't like him rolling over about 6 times after obviously not getting hurt. Tetty's goal with his left foot was class.
Just watched the build up and finish. Superb goal, surely enough in its own right to ensure a starting place to see what he can do for the whole game.
They need 32 points from 18 games to reach 40. 10 wins, 2 draws, allowing 6 defeats 9 wins, 5 draws 8 wins, 8 draws 7 wins, 11 draws (unbeaten for the rest of the season) All of those are a massive ask. Even if they do three times as well in the second half of the season as the first half, 32 points will leave them well short.
Changing topic slightly - I see the Owls want to keep Hooper - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...xtend_stay_with_sheffield_wednesday_1_4365558. Some goal by Ross Wallace.
Perhaps that will fend off transfer rumours!! Edit - I have seen somewhere that Ranieri is hoping to hold on to both him and Mahrez. Let's see if they are still there 4 weeks today.
I think they will. I think they would be mad to move. Even if they finish top half of the table, they will still be highly fought for in the summer. Think Mahrez could play for like a Man U or Arsenal. Not sure if he would get many games for Man City or Chelsea. Vardy, I think, more for a team like Spurs, Liverpool, Everton.
I'm not sure how well they'd fit into another team, as they benefit from the tactics that Ranieri uses and I agree that they wouldn't get to play as many games if they moved to one of the top 4/6 teams.
Leicester sign Gray for 3.7m..........3.7m??!?!? Activated a release clause. He's going to be like Sterling good! Why couldn't we put a cheeky bid for that amount! It's not like we would have been competing with an Arsenal or Man City.
Just seen a scout Video on Youtube on Oumar Niasse, who United are apparently interested in. Never heard of him before. My word he looks a handful. Be really good to see him in the Premiership. Lanky Striker, Very quick, incredibly determined, bags of confidence to take on multiple players, and gets goals. Him and Martial running at you would be scary!
And Filipe Anderson, also on United's list. Wow, you can tell he's a Brazilian! So cool, and technically gifted.
