KIO's Southern fried chicken, Piri Piri spiced pork belly, homemade BBQ potato wedges and a nice crisp salad for supper coming up. Washed down with a pint or six of Stella <cheers>

Double whooper with cheese meal super sized ain't bad, certainly better than any of the McCrud. Zak's up on Mousehold heath used to always be the place for a good burger, in the centre it's a bit trickier, Walnut tree shades used to do a goodun but since It's changed hands I can't vouch for it.
Had a great meal in thaikitti a couple of weeks back.

    Bah!

If you thought Quorn was bad, have you ever tried Tofu?

Cliche I know, but day 3 of not drinking, and keeping up with my daily exercise.

Another run, workout and 10 minutes on the exercise bike. Going to try and last at least the month. Brutal.

I fully intend to get back out on my bike once I've finished all the Christmas booze.

Hopefully some time around mid-March!

As a matter of interest gandy, what's your favourite tipple? Beer or Spirit ?
I ask this for a genuine reason.

Favourite tipple is wine - French Burgundy preferably. Don't drink spirits, quite partial to Guinness (it's in the genes!)

Yes, I'd heard that, sounds lovely doesn't it! Who knew I'd been drinking that all those years. :emoticon-0119-puke:

I was in the Guinness Store a few months back, and they mentioned it, and have apparently stopped using that method.

Though who knows what the French put in their wine! (Especially the ones exported to the UK <laugh>)

I think it's mainly the gnat's piss stuff like Fosters, Carling and Carlsberg that use this method. Most of the premium lagers like Stella Artois and Becks use traditional methods. Stella Artois's 'reassuringly expensive' ad said it all really <ok>

If you ever want to chew the fat (or the cork!) over a bottle of Meursault or Puligny / Chassagne Montrachet, I'm the man!! Adore it - though a little out of my league these days. <cheers>

Someone told me about that, not looked into it though. Does it just have apps to click on for the Sports channels? Like an Apple TV but with sports apps?
