JD Youngs in the centre of Harleston will almost certainly be screening it. They usually have a couple of good ales on and do a pretty good burger too. Bah!
Brilliant and many thanks . I know the pub in the square . Once again thank you and merry christnmas .
I bought a new iMac desktop today. Never owned one before. Excited. I'm use to Microsoft windows etc, so not quiet sure what I'm doing yet. Any starter tips? I thought I'd be able to download things like Netflix Apps and iplayer apps? Like you can on the iphone and ipad, but, I can't seem to find them. Any Apps that would be really useful to download?
There aren't apps for those things it's best to go through safari. Generally I find when I get a new price of tech like that I find it massively frustrating as I want to play with it but do have a reason. It's only after a few weeks when you realise how much you enjoy it.
Yes, so I see, that was surprising. What is the App Store for on that then? Is it for software, as opposed to buying a CD of Software? My god the initial set up was frustrating. Signing up, and signing in to so many things, then straight away updates that took over an hour, then loads of signing in to things, then wifi wouldn't work. Think I'm getting there now.
The apps along the bottom that have a dot under them, mean they are open don't they? When I click on them, it opens and I click the red close button, it still has a dot under it. How can you see what's open and how do you close them properly? Thanks.
Command-Q will actually quit the app. Everything that's open will be in the bar at the bottom an have a dot as you say. If you have a track pad and put four fingers on and slide up (oo er missus) it will show you all you currently open windows. You can do it with the mouse too but I forget how.
Thank you very much for that! We don't have a track pad. We just got it yesterday and it came with the Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. I'll try the slide up on the mouse later, and see if that does anything. Thanks again.
Just been to Tesco and saw Alex Neil doing his shopping with his missus. If I wasn't shy I would have said hi, but supermarkets are annoying enough, didn't really want to add to it and bother him. I'm sure people see the manager and players out all the time, but this is the first time I've spotted one outside of football lol.
We tried loads of places for lunch in the city, but 1PM-2PM everywhere was obviously rammed, so BK was a last resort. Was still pretty rammed and don't know their menu, so got a Steakhouse burger meal (I think it was called that) Was nice enough, nice smokey taste. Chips were tasteless, and tiny portion, burger was very small and basic. I do love a Bacon Cheese burger, and I am a pig, so I'll keep that in mind for if I find myself in that position again. Thanks.
Haha, with your negativity, I wish him all the luck in the world! What positives are you gonna find in him!?
I was in the Bell and though it was busier than usual with people in for the sales, punters were coming in and getting a seat if they wanted a meal.
We walked in about.....1:20-Half past. There were no free tables and we had just followed a group in who were having to stand about near the bar. The Bell was about the 5th of the eventual 10 or 11 we tried.
