Armed police at McDonald's on St Andrew's Quay in Hull

Armed police were called to St Andrew's Quay in Hull after shots were fired at a car outside McDonald's.
Two people inside the blue Volkswagen Golf, which had its windows blown out, were unhurt and are assisting police with their enquiries.
The suspects made off in a grey Volkswagen Golf, passing the Asda Supermarket on Hessle Road, travelling in the direction of Gipsyville.
A member of the public is receiving treatment at the scene for shock.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 999 calls was made at 11.35am today (Saturday January 2, 2016), by a member of the public reporting a number shots being fired in the car park of McDonalds Restaurant, St Andrews Quay, Hull.
"An outer cordon has been put in place around the scene of the firearms incident and firearms trained officers, the police helicopter, specialist police dogs and many other supporting departments of the police are in attendance, tracking down the offenders."
Ambulances and the police helicopter were also called to the scene.
Eyewitness Jamie Hall, from Hull, said: "I was at the petrol station next to it, there are currently three armed police vehicles and the police helicopter.
"McDonalds is cordoned off, a blue car has both passenger side windows smashed in the car park."
On Twitter, @paulharps said: "Sat in hull maccys and someone just shot **** out of a car in the car park. Police here with tasers out [HASHTAG]#madness[/HASHTAG]".
Another witness described a Golf with "shot-out windows".
