Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign West Ham winger Matt Jarvis for a reported fee of £2.5m. The 29-year-old will join the Canaries on a three-and-a-half-year deal when the transfer window opens on 2 January. This may mean they are happy to sell Elliot to us?
Problem is if we sign these 2 permanently, I assume that would blow a big hole in the transfer and wages kitty, if not totally consume it, and the team would be no stronger in the short term!! Turn them both into season long loans with an option to purchase in the summer, and spend money now elsewhere to strengthen the team.
why would Mccormack comes to us? but may have a chamce with Smith though me thinks, plus i think him and Jimmy would be a great pairing
To be honest, I feel its going to take 3 or 4 EXCELLENT signings to turn this season around, and who the hell is going to want to come to us if they are any good?....I really am struggling this season.
On the plus side, looking at this list, we do not need to worry about any of our current squad's 'head being turned' by bigger clubs....
Not a Bristol City one but I'm convinced Lionel Messi will be at Manchester City next season - here's why: Barcalona are in financial trouble and are looking to reduce their wage bill - so at least are open to him leaving City can offer him 500k per week The new tax rates in Spain are not liked by high earners like Messi (he has already been in trouble with the Spanish Tax authority's) Messi does'nt particularily get on withh the current manager and the club have not sided completely with Messi as they have in the past Sergio Aguero is Messi's best friend in football Pep Guardiola may well the manager at City next season While at the Etihad before an Argentina friendly, Messi said the training facitilities there were the best in the world Messi is learning English Am I making 2+2=4 or is there something in it??
