Ruby showing why he's the best. What a tough little partner he has there.

Davey went very easy on WP there, hated the ground.A fair few horses that have ran poorly will be differant animals on good spring ground.
Big gamble on Martin horse here, looks a typical plot job

Difficult to know what to make of the 2m hurdle form

Identity Thief was beaten easily by Sempre Medici, who has since been beaten comfortably by Nichols Canyon and more recently by Old Guard. Identity Thief gave Nichols Canyon a scare today. Nichols Canyon beat Faugheen and Faugheen romped home recently from The New One with Old Guard well beaten. Nichols Canyon was beaten by Windsor Park at Cheltenham last year but beat him easily today. I would have to say that. on the evidence so far, including Cheltenham form, Faugheen will take all the beating

Agreed Ron Faugheen will take all the beating along with Douvan. They look bombproof and I can't see anything getting near them.Roughly 2/1 double so I'll be throwing a few quid here and there on the lead up to the festivel.

I did tell everyone that the 2/1 Paddys went after he was beat on debut was an absolute gift. It certainly looks it now. If he gets there in one piece in March nothing touches the Machine :)

Any views on tonights game lads?Landed a nice footy bet yday so could do with another one!!I think City are value -1 9/4.I know Leicester have been impressive so far this season but they are very weak at the back and have had only one clean sheet. The Leicester bubble will eventually burst and the City midfield can really give them problems tonight!

Leicester -2 to go and absolutely put one on City.

Hope their dream continues against the latest set of filthy rich title buyers.

Faugheen and Douvan looking set fair for back to back opening day doubles in March it has to be said. For the sake of the race I hope Arctic Fire and Nichols Canyon both make it to Cheltenham and try to get the absolute best from Faugheen. Top Notches form looks a bit better after Identity Thiefs brave run today and hopefully Peace and Co remembers he is a racehorse on his next start, to keep things interesting.

No More Heroes looks a quality animal thus far- his question will be the quicker ground and the hill, but we could aim that at every Irish raider and they've done just fine in the past. The RSA could end up a very nice race.

Just got in and seen the racing. Another good run by NMH today, Rule The World ran a lovely race too i felt, admirable horse. I was initially shocked by Nicholls Canyon and Identity Thief but I think ID has definitely improved this season and add the fact the racing would have been off anywhere barring the Leopardstown festival then it always makes the form a bit confusing on the heaviest of heavy going.

Barters Hill is a smashing animal, another lovely run today and his form is looking as solid as you would like it to be.

No need to do any other soccer bet than lump on Leeds to do the double over the Rams <ok> I can always live in hope!

We all have our flaws :) too many years to give up now im afraid. Well, my local team in Ireland I support mainly, but they are relatively young (only going semi professional the last 10 years) and I've always followed Leeds since I was young then in England.

I was dragged up a Leeds United fan but switched my allegiances to the mighty (ahem) Owls when i was old enough to make my own mind up but still young enough not be considered a scab!

Right, yourself and Oddy outside now <laugh>

Watched your game last night too, Boro obviously got off to a flyer but I felt you had a decent second half, Forestieri added a bit of cutting edge and directness up top and perhaps were unlucky not to grab an equaliser.
