Fair play to Leopardstown if they manage to stage the scheduled meeting.
 
LOWER HOPE DANDY 9/2 Newbury 3.00
Was absolutely hosing up on the bridle until tipping up at the last when last seen a year ago. Went up 9lbs for that effort which was more than fair but with the brilliant young claimer Charlie Deutsch taking off 5lb he looks very well treated. The horse has very few miles on the clock and goes stunningly well fresh so the break does not put me off.

Beggars belief don't it? 3 grade1s attract a total of 12 runners, yet all 3 have prize money down to 6th. The money for the Challow is poor though, I can see that getting downgraded
 
Been one of the best Christmas racing for years.

Today a little bet double on No More Heroes and Nichols Canyon at leopardstown

I am also going to have an each way bet on Tidal Dance in the 12.50 at Newbury
 
I do fancy Rule The World to cruise around in that ground and cause a shock today though. Just a shame I can't back e/w due to the small fields.

My old fav Monksland shouldn't really turn form with No More Heroes but Rule The World has put up some very good efforts in red hot handicaps and is very experienced over fences now so should set a good standard.

He caused a big shock against Champagne Fever in a big a couple of years back prior to the latter winning the Supreme.
 
Sandy Beach second will do.Now it's time for favourite backers to get something back at Ltown
