Job done, at least it keeps the betting open as well, wouldnt want him winning half the track and getting cut to 9/4
that ground can be a leveler and hes beat 2 horses who have run consistently in Grade 1s over the course and distance for the last few years
that was the closest we have seen to the bottom of him but at the end he had their measure and neither would get anywhere near him at Cheltenham on decent ground
that was probably a stronger race than it will get credit for, certainly a better trial than the King George where the best horse in the race was a non stayer and only got beat on the line
