The name maybe religious, but the celebration at this time of the year is nothing to do with religion, and started long before JC
It was when they killed off cattle so they didn't have to feed them over the rest of winter and all the beer was ready to drink

Actually, it's taught me to accept mediocrity, to learn to live with disappointment and to enjoy a few brief moments of ecstasy in fifty odd years of support. Merry Christmas to all and hopefully the rest of the season will provide more highs than lows.
That sounds a bit miserable but I think it's true but I wouldn't prefer to follow any other club ... onward and upward UTT.

Aside from traditional carols, this is my favourite Christmas song. More realistic than Lennon, forty years after this songs release, war still rages but I know I'll have snow this Christmas and I pray for a brave new world.
