There is a certain comedy factor in Klopp being ridiculed after a handful of games with a group of players he didn't assemble whilst criticism of LVG after 50+ PL games and a £250million player investment is considered fickle or knee jerk or unfair etc.
Funny old game.
Indeed.
I think what I am trying to get at it is never all one side or another. It is always a mixture of factors and both extremes are IMO wrong.
With Moyes, it was obvious to most that both players and himself had been at fault. In the end Moyes lost the respect of the players and the result was catastrophic.
With LVG, we could see that LVG was responsible for setting up the style. But the players should also bear some responsibility to a certain extent for not using their initiative (and now we read (!) in the papers that the players want him gone. His results, style and now the loss of the players (if true) and the fans make his position untenanble.
With Klopp he is in the honey moon period, every single setback (and they have been performing **** for the last 7 matches) is the fault of solely the players. Klopp is not to blame as he is a genius and can do no wrong. But as Astroturd (albeit unwittingly) said his failures have been and tend to be ignored because he is media savvy compared to Rodgers. The fact that he has never managed in the premiership tend to be completely ignored.
