If Mourhino stays, I think Chelsea are in real danger of being relegated. If they get a new manager in - anyone will do - I think the change, in itself, could be enough to galvanise enough spirit in the squad to get it functioning enough to escape relegation, and even finish in the Europa spots. Mourhino seems to have lost the ability to convince his team that it can win anything!

I would like to see Mourinho stay for the foreseeable future just to see what he's really made of and if he can turn this around and win back the players. To date, he's always walked into a club where the finances were strong or the infrastructure and squad were very good. It's time to see if he has the qualities to knuckle down and is as special as he claims. Right now, he looks ordinary and out of ideas.

I suspect the season will continue to be a bad as it has started but I can't see relegation being a realistic threat.

Two of his old clubs should guarantee that we avoid Michael Owen, though.
Owen Hargreaves should be on United duty too, so that's another **** one out of the way.

Bound to be Utd or the Mousers....
I don't know why you think that Utd will definitely be televised, despite being the most boring team in Premier League history.

In unrelated news, Man Utd's 3rd round FA Cup tie against Sheffield United will be shown live.
It's their 48th consecutive televised FA Cup game, a run which goes back to 2005.

...now if I was a cynic!....

if Leicester can qualify for the champions league then what the hell have we been doing for the last 5 years, its embarrassing really. full time 9 points behind Leicester, cant see us pulling that back, city and arsenal will finish well above us and they bit ive seen of everton makes me think they will finish above us too, eurpoa league again!!
If it was possible to come up with a strategy that guaranteed the results Leicester have had this year then everyone would execute it. That would be a contradiction of course as still only four teams can qualify. Money talks in football but once in a while some club will just get lucky. We just have to put up with that. If Leicester do get top 4 that is a good outcome for us in that it means two of the other 'Sky 5' won't and that will weaken them. the ideal result is for us to be there too of course.

I read somewhere that Arsenal have played Barca 17 times, and the aggregate score is currently 128-2

What makes that even more embarrassing is half of Arsenal's goals shouldn't have counted as they were clearly offside...

What a delicious stat that is!

Please, please, please.... if you are not banned from the Gooner board, you must post it over there!

Be aware, of course, that if you are not banned, and you do post it, you will probably get banned!

Arsenal have actually played Barca 7 times. 4 losses, 2 draws and 1 win. 17-10 on aggregate.

2 games in 1982, 1-1 and 2-1 barca, this spurs shadow you have us all living in.... Where is it lol
