Meanwhile, the Seahawks showed the sort of intensity we haven't seen for a whe from them- they could be very dangerous in the play offs if they get a run of form going like last year again. Yesterday they were awesome.


49ers looked much more of a collective unit under their replacement QB- surely the end of Kapernicks San Francisco career?
 
I thought the Jets were dead in the water against the Giants. Thanks and praise be to Giants Head Coach, Tom Coughlin, who lost the game by not kicking a field goal (which led to a 4th down interception and a big momentum push to Gang Green) and probably his job at the end of the season.

At times I'm finding myself being completely baffled with Manning having won 2 SB rings...

Brady is a great QB. One player can't win a Super Bowl.

The fact that he has won multiple rings and brought his team to the big game even more times than that, will be a legacy worthy of chasing.
 
Are the Colts really that bad? Ok they don't have Luck, but could he have helped the O to outscore the Jags? Their D and special teams stink! Maybe they could find a punter called Norton as McAfee sucks.

You won't find much there but wheat fields. Arrowhead Stadium is in Missouri.

Chiefs games are a great experience. They have one of the best pre-game tailgating environments in all of football. Go early and fill up on the good BBQ.
 
Also Vikes are on the verge of the play-offs, playing the Giants who are without Beckham. Though we get through regardless if Falcons lose against the Panthers.

Also, I don't know if any of you play any online games like hat trick or whatever, but there's this good browser-based text-based american football manager game I've found recently called Red Zone Action. It's quite good, seems to have lots of tactical possibilities (although I haven't yet opened the playbook and am using the computer to play call for me), it has it's own draft system and the way you train up youth players is quite interesting. It's nearly the end of the season so an ideal time to join, especially as you'd still be able to compete in the draft.

Tailgating had its origins in college football. It eventually migrated to the professional level, probably when the rascals graduated. It is all social and about bonding (and eating). If it weren't for pickup trucks, we wouldn't have tailgates.

Wikipedia has it right:
A tailgate party is a social event held on and around the open tailgate of a vehicle. Tailgating, which originated in the United States, often involves consuming alcoholic beverages and grilling food. Tailgate parties occur in the parking lots at stadiums and arenas, before and occasionally after games and concerts. People attending such a party are said to be 'tailgating'. Many people participate even if their vehicles do not have tailgates. Tailgate parties also involve people bringing their own alcoholic beverages, barbecues, food etc which is sampled and shared among fans attending the tailgate. It is usually taboo to sell anything to fans.
