Just 200 or so days until next season. Thank God for the NFL, giving me some kind of meaning in my life since 2013.
And the Vikings have re-signed Sendejo, ****ing brilliant. I guess it is only fair to the 31 other teams that they have to pair the best safety in the league in Harrison Smith with the worst. Judging from Zimmer's comments though I am hopeful they go and get a new starting safety in FA or in the draft.
And they didn't do that. Drafted a safety almost like an afterthought in the 7th round who will probably struggle to make the final roster anyway. Tbf to them though I reckon they wanted safety in the first round but Raiders took Joseph a lot earlier than most people were expecting and then Neal went to the Falcons before the Vikings pick and the drop off in talent at the position was big from Joseph to Neal and then huge between Neal and the rest. Happy enough with Treadwell, didn't like the Alexander pick in the 2nd round but having read more about him I don't mind it so much now. The most annoying thing was the 2 players I wanted the most in the later rounds (Bilings and Westermann) both went to the Bengals the pick straight after the Vikings pick. But oh well, overall pretty happy with the draft haul they got and hopefully they can retain the NFC North and finally win a ****ing play off game.
What's your view on the German dude, Boehringer or whatever his name is? (I dunno the keyboard shortcut for an umlaut)
