If you thought McGregor was unbearable before... That's his game, getting into people's heads, Aldo was pissed, he tried to get into a punching match from the get go, and got knocked the **** out #rematch
Edgar is a man who can take a punch and then some. You win some, and you lose some, Aldo got caught, it happens, he deserves to have a rematch, despite biased Joe Rogan saying he doesn't.
Franky couldn't even handle Aldo, let alone McGregor Rematch big time, that was not a fight. I feel cheated staying up hours for that. Doesn't matter though, Aldo's chin wont be any harder next time. That left, none of them can take it even Edgar. McGregor is just too accurate with those punches, he dropped a 10 year undefeated champ like sack of spuds
Glad I nodded off and got a decent night's sleep now instead of waiting till the small hours for a one-punch whooping
On bt sports. In any event it just shows ufc is for guys who can't box. Aldo just proved it and frankly mcgregor will be after lightweight belt next as barring getting choked out the guy knows he can sucker 90% of this lot. I personally think at lighter weights boxing is still quite good but at the heavier end it's a joke. But in ufc we wrestlers can come in ffs. Sigh 13 seconds is just silly....or.... a fix... new conspiracy anyone? A faked injury last time and takes a dive this time?
Wow what a night of boxing. Joshua, then McGregor. Credit to Whyte - that guy can take punches. Frustrated Joshua a few times.
dude.. seriously, he was moving forward and all his weight went into a perfect left, right on hte end of the chin that spun him. No one is champ for 10 years and agrees to fall face forward after 13 secs surely McGregor is not overly powerful, he's dangerously accurate. If that punch was 2" or more higher Aldo was not going down
Three fights that I had a interest in were on last night and all three went the way I wanted; Joshua won. McGregor won. And a mate of mine won a national amatuar title too
Is Eubank jnr any good? Just seen his fight at the end when it was over. His old man was brilliant up till he won the title
I disagree. I think with all of the bad blood between the two, Joshua wanted to go out there and batter Whyte. It was a punch up not boxing fight. Plus, with Adam Booth as his trainer, he would have the perfect game plan to defeat his previous fighter, Haye.
The first 3 rounds were a right slugfest then Eubank Jr's quality came through before it was stopped. Exactly like his father but with quicker hands. For all of the hype, this one will be able to back it up too.
Behave. He got suckered into a street brawl in the early rounds last night. He got tagged by a couple of good shots in the process but he was still administering far more than he was taking. He settled down into his rhythm and started out boxing the slugger after about 3 rounds, and then it was only ever a question of when he'd put him down, not if. He left the ring without a mark on him. Haye at 35 and out of the ring for 3 1/2 years, would never live with this lad, Joshua would respect him and have him at arms length on the end of his jab same as Klitchsko did, only he'd wear him down then sit him on his arse. Joshua is already the best heavyweight in the division. He learned from that fight last night, as he finally found someone who could live with him for more than 3 minutes. He also proved he's got a chin.
