2.25 Cheltenham West Approach 20/1 e/w Like the stable's Thistlecrack, West Approach is out of the mare Ardstown, but was sired by Westerner (rather than Kayf Tara who sired Thistlecrack). He is also owned by John and Heather Snook and is held in very, very high regard by Colin Tizzard. He was well outpaced in a very hot maiden on hurdles debut but that was over a woefully inadequate 2 miles and the step up to 3 should bring out the very best in him.
3:00 More of that, yes I will have more of that even money on offer. In fact I'll put my mortgage on it
Don't fancy your chances there Jim, in fact I'll put my life savings on it not winning the 3.00. Try the 12.40
2.25 Cheltenham - Justanothermuddle - 10/1 ew Put him up on his hurdling debut last month When winning very nicely , although this a step up in class by quite abit, this isn't the strongest Grade 2 on paper and some you could question in to whether they will stay, not this fellow he will stay up the hill and show his best at the end. Ran in some High class bumpers including Aintree last year when coming back from 13 months off (won 2/4 bumpers) he would have improved after his run lto and is apparently working/schooling very well at home so a big run should be on the cards
Generous Ransom was fancied for the Caspian by the Final furlong boys, runs at Donny instead and they think he is well in. 11/1 with 365 currently.
Let's all ride the Buywise (9/1) train again. Hopefully plenty of rain around to help him in the jumping department. I said the last day he'd have won easy without the mistakes so if he can cut them down to say, half a dozen tomorrow, he'll win by a fence! Southfield Royale (2/1) should outstay them in the Grade 2 at Doncaster 2.40.
