Can I just sat say a massive well done to Baby Shine today. Having her last run today as the owners were very fearful of her getting injured. Fantastic for this lovely mare to go out on a high.

Well I'm happy to have lost £20. Well done to McGregor he shocks the world and knocks out Jose Also in just 13 seconds!

McGregor's an absolute animal, puts him to sleep in a dozen seconds. Not too many will fancy him now! There's lads I know were backing Conor for months, I dont think they were too surprised to be honest!

Aldo let the pressure get to him and got caught with an early shot.

Fair play to McGregor, but I would still fancy Aldo in a rematch:biggrin:

Lasts 13 seconds against McGregor, yet fancies Aldo in rematch #shergylogic

It really is a case about here when results go against expectations, people just ignore it and say he wont do it next time <doh>

It was 1 flukey punch, these things can happen in UFC. I still think Aldo is the more skilled fighter.

Wether he'll get the rematch who knows, as Its hard to ignore Frankie Edgar who beat Chad Mendes a lot easier than McGregor did

Its not a case of people ignoring it, writing it off and saying oh well next time it'll be different but when results go against General expectations and upsets happen, they are sometimes just that ... Upsets! So naturally looking at it people might be entitled to think there could be a different outcome in the rematches. I assume you'll be backing Nichols Canyon to beat Faugheen again next time they meet? Or was that an upset against the expectations of the majority where you think the 'better' horse will win next time?

Thing was smokey last night wasn't a surprise! Most people I knew fancied Conor to win, same way a good few judges fancied Fury! Just because you didnt you make out they were huge shocks.

Nicholls Canyon was a shock, as Faugheen was 1/6. Klit was what only 1/3, Aldo up until yesterday was the outsider of the pair. These weren't shocks mate, you just called them wrong!

Fury was a huge shock just because a few shrewdies called it doesn't make it anymore of a shock. Boston Bob called Nichols Canyon does that mean, that now isn't seen as a shock in hindsight because someone said it might happen??

I know McGregor wasn't a massive upset I pointed out myself he'd been favourite but I doubt even all your people thought it'd be a 13 second ko so I think it's fairly reasonable to speculate that if they have another fight it might be different. Rhonda Rousey got destroyed a few weeks ago in what was the biggest upset the sport has ever seen, a lad I work with had £50 on Holly Holm at 10s because he knew her background and fancied the upset. Doesn't make it any less of an upset because someone backed the outsider
