And with a fraction of the money BR has had at hid disposal. I see him as the next Arsenal manager.

Martinez or Rodgers would easily be able to restore the Swanselona style of play within weeks of being appointed, I'm sure that our board will be debating the return to our previous continental game play, even Sousa could be a good move for us, though that one would be a none starter from Huw Jenkins point of view.............<ok>

Liverpool are a higher level than Wigan by a long shot , and higher than Everton ...that's why Martinez is still in the game.
I suggest that if Martinez took on a managerial job ta step higher than Everton , he wouldn't make it.
Martinez was a better value manager , the lower the team was .Just an opinion.

I didn't like what he did, but if he can sort the mess out that has been created by GM then I would have him back in a heartbeat.

David Moyes on the verge of possibly being sacked by Real Sociedad? Personally think GM will get a chance to turn it around. Certainly until Xmas.

Maybe we're waiting till after the Man City game , I kid not .
I was thinking that it seems a bit quiet at the club , especially with the BBC saying it looks like Moyes may not be interested in the job .
Jenkins , being the sneak he is , might give him one last chance away at Manchester , where the home fans can't have a go at Monk .
If he wins he rides back into Swansea on a horse drawn chariot in victory with 2 home games in line against " lesser teams " and both him and Monk save face . It's a two faced risk with a lot at stake but they both would walk on their mothers to keep Monk in power ...imo
If he loses Monk is sacked within an hour so Jenkins can deflect criticism away from himself before he gets back to town and has the same two game home scenario for a new manager to start his reign .

Well the first thing I'd do is sue you for saying that ...lol.
Jenkins should have grew a pair and sacked Monk after the Norwich game
The new manager would have had 56 days to play 8 games with a international break to prepare for his first game against a relegation team at home.
As it sits now a new manager would have just over 20 days to prepare for 5 games starting with a top team away in less than a week .
I don't care what the gambling people say , I'm not convinced Monk isn't picking the team at Man City , and will more convinced as each day passes without a manager change

To be honest I think they will wait until after the city game. Its a game we are expected to lose with or without Monk and will give all the more valididation to Huw's decision to sack him with 6 points from 36 rather than 6 points from 33. Having a trigger happy chairman is a deterrent to other potential managers and Huw will be keen to avoid this tag.
