Well see what the consensus is. I could try and plug it through RR. It all depends on whether folk want to raise as much as humanly possible or keep it low key in some sort of 'look at what not 606 has done' sort of thing. The way I see it help 1 person or help half a dozen. But I'm only going to donate a fiver so I don't have any grounds for opinion. Just trying to get communication going and offer a potential platform.
Seems so. I'll leave the offer on the table, if Tel or Sid ok it then I'll happily try and plug it.
I never set this up to be a task to find out how much we can humanly possibly raise, it was more a not606 exercise for the board to be proud of, but obviously I'm just one person so I wouldn't want to stand in the way of charitable donations.
If it were purely up to me, I'd prefer Comm in and to keep it low key than to maximise its exposure. It's down to the board members on here to decide though.

The idra is great. I actually was gonna donte more. But didnt want to come across as a ****ER on this thread.. Maybe try looking at my point of view.
I actually don't think this needs promoting any more than what has been done on here and Sundermad. Last time i looked the total was up £160 and that's just from today (i think) the ceiling is £250 and at this rate will probably bust tomorrow if not sooner.

I think it was your haste to sack it off at the mere suggestion that made you look a ****er. Dummy spitting . You only had to say "I rather we didn't" and your views would have been taken on board and discussed like the grown people are now. But you preferred to spite charity in response to somebody looking for feedback on a suggestion after the cause had already been shared beyond our community(with the best intentions).

Secondly, I think we keep this local for now, if we succeed and it's a worthwhile cause then maybe we can do a bigger campaign next Xmas.
Thats my opinion, although Jerry's a star for using her influence to make this bigger, she's obviously got a great heart and we'll need her sort of ambition next year.
If the money generated got out of hand it'd end up a full time job finding worthwhile causes or we'd have to give it to a charity, and without sounding heartless that just doesn't appeal to me right now.
That Brothers In Arms sounds a perfect cause for a bigger campaign next Xmas
