A good young fast CB and a full back for each side especially left. Alonso would be ideal. Graham, Bridcutt etc can go but if Defoe or Fletcher are going. Another top striker needed. If I were SA, I would just sort out the defenders
Agree for the most part, though not sure we can justify another RB! We already have Jones, Yedlin, and Matthews competing for that place!
Not a great deal of competition in our full back positions, so far only decent performances have come from BJ and that is just recently, otherwise it's the main reason that we are were we are. I still think we should have retained Rev and Vergini. Just as with YK and SC its how you set up the team that makes a hell of a difference to players. The three CB's at Palace were outstanding, if they can continue that level of performance we are home and dry.
Where's Matthews disappeared to? Is he still injured? I think it depends what system Sam wants to play - if he wants to play with wingbacks then our targets might be slightly different to normal full backs. Regarding Alonso - I'd have him in a heartbeat but Fiorentina are going well in Serie A this year so may want to hold on for squad back up etc.
