Cabaye will absolutely run this game in the middle if mclaren plays anita and tiote there. I've already expressed this is terrible combination and suggested sissoko or gini moving into the middle and giving thauvin another chance. I know people think I'm crazy anyway but marv is the best option because he play a killer pass and has guile on the ball and can beat a man. I guess I'm saying i believe in team balance not just player ratings and reputation.

Absolutely agree. Having 2 DM's that would turn to ash if they cross the half way line just has the effect of inviting teams onto us.

Wijnaldum should be playing in the centre. Tiote is the only credible option to partner him at the moment IMHO although we should be looking to sign a quality DCM on the 1st January because Tiote looks like he's running on the spot when he's chasing after an opposition player, not to mention not being able to pass the ball 5 yards. The options for the left side of midfield are not great with Aarons out and it looking very much like Marseille have had our eyes out with Thauvin, but I'd rather have a poor Obertan or Thuavin on the wing than Anita in the middle.

Thanks for all your replies, but all drifted away from my search for tickets
I've got a ticket for Palace that I am probably going to sell as it's looking unlikely that I will be there.

I live in London so would prefer to meet outside the ground to get the ticket. Is there anyway you could send it down with another fan

I don't think we'll dominate possession against Palace, I think we'll play absolute crap like vs Bournemouth, and to be honest that's our best chance. If we play Mclaren's way, we'll get smashed. If we set-up to defend and counter ourselves, we could get a draw. Could being the operative word. I would take a 1-0 loss now.

We never travel well to London, and having anything less than 2 DM's is suicidal. Tiote and Anita, however **** the latter is, need to stop Cabaye, and I reckon they can quite easily. Let's not forget that he did go missing plenty of times for us when well marshalled. For me, we have to be practical.

Be a good game with a bit of feeling around it. Pardew is doing a fantastic job since taking over, be a tough game as he bought well. They are more set up for counter attack with their pace out wide and Cabayes guile. Probably not a great match up for us as we like dominate possession but are vulnerable. However with them being at home, he may try to get on with the game a bit which I don't think they are suited to.

Personally I think Pardew deserves a great reception whenever he returns up here too as he did a good job. He won't get it though!

On the tickets, I think twatter is the place these days from speaking with lads I know who still travel. It is dicey though.

I'll pop down and give him a Glasgow welcome mate. It's his way of gettng a point across apparently. <whistle> [HASHTAG]#yesthatagain[/HASHTAG]

Problem is that it is not just Cabaye, if Zaha, Puncheon and Bolasie turn up in the mood to have a go our midfield could be torn to pieces, Palace may not be at their best at home but they have a very capable squad, it will be interesting to see how Sunderland deal with them or not.

It is funny how we play two defensive midfielders and still look like we have set up like a gun ho Brazil side with zero attempt to defend

It becomes useful to not have inside you though. Nothing worse than feeling you have the great wall of china ready to depart your colon, then you only get a small section out.

Exactly if Tiote and anita are **** whoever craps them out is irrelevant

Beginning of a new dawn tomorrow mate, we are going to smash Leicester and go soaring up the table trashing all before us including Palace.
