REDHOTMACKEM, he was a strange one. Always going on about his beautiful house, his dad running all the pub security in Sunderland. His Porche Boxter, cracking anybody out in the Hastings Hill, 'just ask for Big Dave.' Lol. I think a few did & nee ****er knew who they were on about. I invited him to Tanfield club one time but he never showed. I think Joeonfire asked him over to his local & I know MR did, all no shows. His user name changed a few times & eventually morphed into BAZ THE MACKEM. Pity he's gone really because when he kept his posts to football he talked a lot of sense. I kind of grew to like him in the end. Where ever you are Baz, keep on smashing your lasses back doors in.
Monty is defo not a mag, he knows way too much about Sunderland, I think he's crackers mind. WP is the stupidest one for me, crying to Comm that he wasn't allowed in Shafiq is the best weirdo, it's total destruction when he comes on and it's about half an hour before he's banned again.
My fave 'posh' sarnie is vitello tonnato melt with capers. a good ole tuna melt is a good second, as is a BLT. pastrami, pickle and mystard on rye also a fave.
As im not to keen on tomato and you can stick your capers where the sun dont shine, im not liking your first choice one bit. But the other two are spot on apart from the tomato. I do like a tuna mayo. Or with added cucumber or onion.
vitello tonnato mate, not vitello tomato. It's a creamy weird surf and turf dish. Veal with some kind of fish sauce. Bought some veal one day and came across the recipe looking for ideas. Sounds rank, didn't fancy it.
it's veal carpaccio + tuna/mayo. sounds weird, but seriously ****ung delicious. Just add some manchego/parmesan and melt. capers optional

Couldn't bring myself to eat whale or seal. almost had the latter in Iceland, but having spent a daywhale watching I got a bit 'emotional' and had some shark instead. Reindeer is delicious. like a slightly rich, gamey top bit of beef and v little fat. scraping and sucking marrow out of bones was interesting, but a bit salty fir my pallet.
Reindeer. Well i wasnt expecting that, thats certainly different. Not so sure on the sucking the marrow out of the bones part. But i guess i'd give it a go. Reindeer. Hhmmm im interested in this. So you eat it with?
Mashed spuds and lingonberry sauce is typical. sometimes creamed mushrooms n mash. sometimes in a hearty 'stew', after the meat has been pan fried in butter and beer. Yum yum. just had beef tongue, mushroom sauce and spuds for lunch. a nice change from the fish or pork stew on the lunch menu/daily specials. very light and delicious it was too, and good value i'd never go for marrow again, unless i get stranded in the arctic and have to feed of some dead folk to survive for a bit. god forbid.
