Nev and Tash are a lot vocal than normal which is drawing my attention.
A tied lynch may let us see what voting patterns and switches transpire.

A valid point but I had everyone voting for me so I was pissing into the wind even attempting to defend myself.
I was more focussed on wumming the town with facepalms as I thought I'd have a bit more fun before the sheep strung me up.
I was proved 100% correct too as the scouse puppetmaster was pulling everyone's strings... and well.

Don't worry, I need to reign it in too. The two of us are trying to figure things out but we need to get the opinions of other guys too or else they can just hide.

Just like the last game actually, remind me if you were town there again? <whistle>

I have a habit of overthinking and then typing it all out, I'm trying to tone it down but it's not going so well... <laugh>

    Just playing devils advocate.

What at would you expect to gain if it was 9-6. I think arm is clear favourite to be lynched and even in a close vote I think even you want him lynched ahead of Nev.

So there is no need for his team mates to try save him there... All that will happen is those voting Nev will be under suspicion of tash is innocent for next round because they voted against someone that was guilty.

In in usually all for a tied or close lynch but when you have not much to go on and there's one perso looking far more guilty than anyone else, I say let them swing and then put that 2nd person in a close lynch tomorrow.

    I haven't a clue at all mate.
It's too early for a considered vote.
Hardly anyone has posted really so out of the ones who have, Tash and Nev seem a bit iffy.
I'm back to work again shortly so will catch you chaps later.

The link between ACS and brb seems important. It doesn't tell us anything yet, but I don't think Rolando would be just revealing who two synths were like that. Does this mean @brb investigated ACS last night? If so it would seem to indicate that brb is human (not prove yet) and that if so he might know if ACS is human too. I think it's important not to let this info slide cos of the distraction with Tash.

I took this at first reading that @666 Tash 666 had something to do in the game, but on second reading I think it now looks like he had something to do in real life and didn't get the chance to choose somewhere to hide. If it is the case that Tash wasn't online then it does look like he could only have been placed in the saloon by his team mates. I think Tash made a similar mistake in the last game when he first appeared and found himself up for lynch and only escaped becasue brb distracted everyone.

Is this a simple mistake like mine was or an attempt to confuse the thicker ones among us ( <doh> ) realising that he had ****ed up with his earlier post?

Not looking good so I'll (finally) vote Tash

You're right, I do think Tash is looking a lot more guilty and I'd rather lynch him than Nev, I'm just trying to broaden our options a bit.
I was just trying to think of a way that is the most likely to get extra info from people, it's not 100% foolproof but I do think it has some merit.

So if Tash is guilty we put focus on Nev tomorrow.
If Tash is innocent do we then still put pressure on Nev (due to the possibility of Option B being possible), or are we back to square one? Probably square one.

I just think that when we look back on voting patterns I'd much rather have multiple options, if everyone ganged up on Tash we learn nothing (in terms of voting blocks, obviously we learn if Tash is innocent or guilty), at least if it was a 9-6 vote you can try look for patterns.

How about we lynch Tash tonight and ask Boone to kill me? He is shooting in the dark at the minute so at least I'd be a target under suspicion, and it would also free up proper voting opportunities tomorrow that might lead us to a synth. I know I am town but fully appreciate why others now have doubts.

Forgot to mention, the bit in bold at the end is exactly my view on lynches in most cases. The only reason I'm trying to discuss something slightly different is because it's effectively day 1 and we know nothing. Would be great if Tash tried to defend himself... <whistle>

I'm all for voting Tash (I voted for him before I switched to Nev) but I'll keep my vote on Nev in case some people do want to bring the vote closer. I'm not fazed either way.

If you know you're town why would you sacrifice yourself though? Unless you're a doc it wouldn't make sense, rather hope Boone hits a synth.

EDIT: Docs can't save a Boone victim, my bad. #ReadTheRules

Simply because I don't think this game will last long and I don't think my mistake with the rules earlier should be a distraction for two days. There is more chance of Boone hitting a human than a synth, and if I am voted to be lynched tomorrow anyway that would be two days without a synth killed. If I am a doc anyway then you would know tomorrow that I am town if I am alive. If I am killed then tomorrow you can stop being distracted by this and focus on those who currently can hide without any effort.

Maybe lynch Tash and the sheriff could investigate Neville?

I agree, I'd rather investigate someone claiming to be a townie and hope to kill a Synth. Lots of quiet players as per usual, I would rather target one of them.

Reasoning being that either they're synths trying to stay under the radar, or they're townies that are not contributing so they're not using their abilities anyway. I'm not sure what Nev's role is but at least he could use it for town's benefit as he is an active player, and he can help us figure out who the bad guys are.

That would be an even more appealing option to me. It would only provide a confirmed human, which isn't as good as a confirmed synth though and would also mean that the sheriff had to expose himself to the synths. If we go down the route of investigating me then it should be dogmeat as only a public confirmation would be helpful and at least dogmeat couldn't be killed. Otherwise this just gives the synths an opportunity to out the sheriff in the knowledge he was confirming town and not synth.
