The world has gone mope crazy.
Sorry to say, mate, it went mope crazy years ago. I blame the Princess of Hearts.
The world has gone mope crazy.
With a wee note inside saying "nuclear warhead"

May impure blood water our fields
That's a line in French national anthem. Yet we canny sing Billy boys!?!?
sacré bleu!
There were some particularly nasty bastards amongst the Nazis and Japanese but most of the soldiers that die in wars, on all sides, are decent young men who would have had most of their lives to look forward to. When I observe the minute or two of silence I reflect on the senseless waste of life and am thankful that my generation has not had to endure such horror.Do German Iraqi and Argentine veterans get a flight over for these services? Maybe a few Japanese?
Does the money raised go to any of the above or any victims of our actions in conflicts?
If not I'd have to say the remembrance silence has little to do with remembering anyone other than allied casualties
Pretending it's for everyone is a bit insulting
If you won't be silent then move on until it's over

I'm sure that's true but not quite on the scale of the Nazis and Japs. There's was and is some nasty Bastards among the British Army.
Tell that to the people of Dresden and other such places that suffered mass murder.I'm sure that's true but not quite on the scale of the Nazis and Japs.

No he was being disingenuous. So the Ross County stadium announcer was lying?
No he was being disingenuous.
All of them![]()
No, they booed because the oirish were shouting "Palestine" during what was supposed to be a minutes silence. So are you saying Ross County - or any other Club - cannot have a minute's silence for whichever reason they choose to announce? He said it as an official of Ross County, he had clearly been authorised to make such an announcment so the announcement was made and duly ignored, so in effect the throwbacks in the away end behaved no better than the Bosnian fans, who, if we are to accept as fact, booed France for being anti Islamic...in their view.
Surely that's political too and both sets of fans are to be applauded for their bold stance.
