Thankfully there's a couple of shows I watch on tonight, so I won't watch the England game out of boredom.

GRRR this is what happens everytime. I thought on the drive home "England on tonight.....I really fancy watching some footy tonight!" then I get dragged in and watch the first half, then get pissed off and give up. I said this morning I'm not going to watch it. Now I fancy watching football.

Sweden v Denmark & Slovenia v Ukraine both have something meaningful at stake <ok>
Haha!! That is a good point that I hadn't even considered. Thing is. I can justify Norwich, Premiership, World Cup, Euros and England matches to the GF, and she's very accommodating. If I start watching Slovenia Vs Ukraine in a Euro qualifier....She's probably going to think I'm taking the p*ss! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Was pretty chuffed that ROI joined the others from these islands (sorry Scotland!) in the draw for next year's tournie.

Anyone going, or anyone who was thinking about it, put off by what happened around the Stade Français recently. I'll be taking the train around central and southern Europe at the time. so won't be, but wonder how I might have felt if I was considering it.

It really is so great to see, I can't believe it has happened. It's really a bit gutting Scotland didn't make it. Would have been so lovely to see. Also the fact some Norwich players could have got Euro Finals experience. 4 of us in the Euros, when was the last time that happened? Has it happened? Not in my lifetime.

World Cup, Sweden 1958 had all four UK countries competing! Last time Wales qualified for a major tournament i believe.

Ended up being a decent performance from England, though you can obviously understand if the French players weren't quite at the top of their game tonight. Alli looked like he deserved his place and I can't remember the last time I thought "Rooney is having a good game".

That's typical, Thought that would happen as it's the first game I haven't watched in years. Really glad Alli and Dier got starts, and what a goal from Alli! He really does looks a class act that is growing massively as a player every game.
