I would agree about the hijab. It at least allows for the persons individuallity. A burka hides that. I know a Muslim woman who never wore hers (burka) until a male Muslim started working in our office. It may be that she had made the decision on her own or that she felt obliged to due to the male Muslim. I feel she was pressured, subconsciously at least, to conform in the company of a Muslim male.

That's pretty much spot on, IMO. Groups like ISIS know this and deliberately court the naive and disaffected through social media. As was said, this one is a one way ticket though.
