As much as we all love a bit of friendly banter with the mags, laughing at them because one of their players is injured, is a bit low.

The writing was always on the wall for Arfa. I dont wish any personal ailment but coming back form a serious injury after being out for a long time is always fraught with danger. I think Fraizer Campbell will have similar problems.
However, Arfa, Ba and Marveaux are all serious injury prone players upon which the barcodes have seemingly invested a lot of faith and hope in for the coming season.

Funny thing is he only ever played a couple of games then had a serious leg break and they went and give him a 5 yr contract or something without even seeing if he was gona be ok!! Hahaha classic
Well, i'd be delighted if he was to miss the derby as he's a supremely talented lad, but i also wish him well, because as a football fan and a person, i'd never wish injuries on anyone.

Hope he gets well soon to be honest for the derby, imagine all the "name is injured haha" threads they could have wrote on our boards last season, agree its a bit childish and low to laugh especially when we have players out with serious injuries

I want to see the craas suffer through on the field and off the field calamities too but not at the expense of individual players injuries.
Personally, I would rather he played and have no excuses for the defeat afterwards. Our best v their best and to the best team the spoils. Then we will really see who's players would make who's teams.

Is it the same leg marra?
To be expected that he'll pick up strains etc on the road back, doesn't matter how hard you train, you wont be twisting and turning the same as you would in a game.

I agree that i'd rather beat the full strength team, but i will also add that any team wearing a NUFC badge that we beat the feeling will not be diluted.
I'm gonna with HBA all the best, the injury he had was horrific, and it'd be great to see footballers coming back strong from these kinda things, not many do sadly.

He was the in player I fancied to step up to the mark last season but that was a bad injury and 18 months to 2 years out of the game is almost a 5th of a footballers career.

I have the same fear over Frazier mate.
Such a shame the timing, the end of the season before he'd really found his feet, the lad is one of them diamonds who is thankful to be a footballer, grafts for it, i had a chat with him once in town, a bright, funny cheery lad.
I really hope he gets back, the concern is always for players like him and Ben Arfa, where pace is a massive part of their game, that if the leg doesn't heal perfectly, they'll never have the same style and stance.

The injuries HBA have been suffered from Bad tackles not him being injury prone.

It heels stronger, but not always in the same position.
I had a broken leg 8 years ago, and i can still feel it's there almost every day, when i play footy, i can feel the skin pinch around it, it's a weird sensatin, and alog the scar line i have little feeling.
I'm genuinely glad to hear it's a minor thing, i wouldn't wish a serious injury on anyone who isn't Darren Bent
