The Poppy appeal and Poppy Scotland are charities. They have no political affilation. They are non poitical.

They have been politicised, especially in Scotland, by the plastic Paddy brigade. That in turn has led to the huns being ever more vociferous in their backing of it in an attempt to make the stupid taigs look even worse.

At the end of the day the are all ****s scoring points using dead and disabled heroes as ammo.

So **** up the lot of yees.

When I was a kid you got a poppy from a wee old lady, your grandad went to a ceremony on a Sunday and by then you'd either lost or left the poppy somewhere

Now it's a two month campaign trying to shame people much like the white feathers from ww1 with concerts, clowns dressed head to toe in poppies, expensive poppy broaches on celebs (because they care more than regular people) and tabloids who don't know what respect is measuring how far you can bow while holding a wreath

Not one thought given to the message of ending war

It should be done away with, let the government fund the RBL

I was completely with you till the last sentence. Rather than doing away with it they should try to bring it back to what it was and show up the hypocrites for what they really are - sadly it's probably easier to scrap it though.
