I seriously hope Villa get relegated this season, a truly useless club that brings nothing to the PL.
This is not a reflection of Villa as a club, but I'm amazed that a manager who consistently finished towards the top of the French Leagues has joined a team in crisis stuck at the bottom of the Prem, with little transfer budget (and can't buy/sell anyone until Jan). You would have thought he would have aimed a bit higher tbh
You've got a great point, maybe he likes a tough challenge? Joining Villa is bordering on mental though....
Probably earns more in a lower Prem / upper Champ club than he does for teams in French League (PSG excluded)
http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.co...sted-over-valbuena-blackmail-sextape-scandal/ I'm not saying we shouldn't have bought a striker but we dodged a bullet on this one as now rumours are he'll be charged for Cocaine trafficking too
That's 7 losses in 11 now. They're only three points ahead of Bournemouth, for crying out loud! Surely, it's only a matter of time before he gets sacked now? I hear commentators talking about how 'unlucky' they are and how they're 'playing well', but the fact of the matter is, the most important part of the match is the final result above all else and theirs, given the amount their team cost to assemble, is massively, massively underperforming. They're leaking in goals left, right and centre and they're not scoring. We're a third of the way through the season.
It's crazy how bad their defence and defensive organisation is considering that is what mourinho is famed for and what they excelled at last season with the same players, besides gk but bergovic has been their best player all season.
Gutted that Jose was banned from the stadium, watching a post match interview with that clown after Chelsea get beat is comedy gold.
I was thinking if we'd beaten them when we'd played them (a possibility if Costa had been sent off instead of Gabriel) then we would already be 20 points ahead, with a game in hand, that would have been incredible!
Clearly something is royally ****ed at Chelsea and you have to put it down to the manager. The players haven't turned to **** overnight and you have to conclude that despite the clamour to try and tell everybody that they are behind him, the reality is that at least half their first team are not playing for their manager.
