Agree with Rodney, never quite delivered.......and exposed as captain......but a different manager may alter things.
Two months to turn Ned around...we will see....but agree currently it would be career suicide to go to Sunderland....and a bit of career suicide to stay here....but 2 months is along time in football
We will see...come on u Rrrrs

Sorry, you're absolutely right, we should just ignore his inability to pass a ball to a member of his own team, his inability to read the game, his inability to cajole, manage and motivate hi defence, his inability to use his size either in defense or from attacking set pieces.

All of those things apart - he's just mint.

He very rarely gets out muscled or out paced.
He's limited on the ball and shouldn't have been made captain.
I'm just sick of our **** fans who seem to have become unbelievably nasty and vindictive of late.

Good post, Col. He should not have been appointed captain, and as for on the pitch, all the defensive players have been up against it with Ramsey giving directions. Warnock understands defence. I'm hoping he'll be given some time to sort the team - I bloody don't want the club rushing into appointing the wrong manager again, take time and get it right, even if we stay midtable - and then we can judge all the players and properly evaluate them

Be interesting to see if he remains captain under NW.
Neil may get the best out of him, however he has been shocking for sometime now. He is limited in his play and positioning. Not being nasty to the bloke just seeing whats in front of me and it's not good.

Young Hall has been coming along fine "with Ramsey giving directions". Clint has done as well as he''s done the last few years. Ned played better 2 seasons ago but hardly otherwise. I really hope Colin improves the back 4,, but think he will need to bring in a good solid CB who can get his head to the ball - can't rely on Clint to do that in too many games this season

I suspect Hall and Hill have been doing ok despite Ramsey's directions, rather than because of them. I'm not trying to make Ramsey out an idiot but his focus never seemed to be on defence, even in his purchases between seasons.

Agree about the need to bring in a CB.

If Ned is so good why do we have one of the worst defences in the league?
Truth is he does get out jumped and muscled off the ball. His positioning is questionable and he keeps turning off at the wrong time.
Lets see what NW can do with him.

Don't worry, never fear, Colin brought someone into the club who will turn things round for us, one of our longest serving players, yes it's............

Think being made captain hindered rather than helped Ned. Not exactly spooky for choice in that respect though, Clint is literally the only real leader we have.
