Wow. That's what a world cup final should be like. Australia looked dead and buried, then for a minute or two a miracle looked on. In the end the best team in the world proved how good they are.

Just got back in after watching the match up the sports club. What a game! No quarter asked or given from either side, and an epic finale. Australia would have beaten any other side in the world, but New Zealand were a different level again. Ma'a Nonu was just unbelievably aggressive from start to finish, and Carter was imperious in everything he did. Victory to the best side there has ever been, what more can you ask?

What more could we ask for Chilco? England lasting longer than a week!!! :)
Wouldn't it be lovely? But on the evidence of this World Cup, the whole Northern Hemisphere is a decade behind the big 3 in the South, with Argentina now probably ahead of most of us as well. I'd put the All Blacks' superiority down to just one thing: the whole structure of the game in NZ is geared purely towards providing the best national team possible. That's the way to do it!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this rugby world cup as it has been won by the best team playing rugby and scoring points as it should be - through the hands!! Full marks to OZ for putting on a bit of style and craft in the second period and they certainly looked dangerous for a period but Carter et al were not about to leave the game with runners-up medals. I hope England and more particularly the French have a good look at their game and get back to running rugby!!

Sam Burgess has had a massive strop at people criticising him at the World Cup and switched back to rugby league. What a time waster and what a waste of space in the squad he was.

And he's left Bath without a fully functioning back row as well. :emoticon-0132-envy:

Anyone who would rather play for an outfit called the South Sydney Rabbitohs than the mighty Bath must have a screw loose.
