1-1. The sub does us again, just like the first game.
We'd totally gone off the boil for about 10 minutes.

Not just tonight or this season but we really do flatter to deceive in the Europa league. We never look comfortable and I wonder whethe r it's the style of football that doesn't suit us or that we just aren't that good when it comes to playing decent European teams.

We just haven't seemed particularly interested in this competition this year. Or for the past 3 years for that matter.

People who think we should be prioritising this competition need to wake up, struggling to get out of a really easy group playing a near full strength line up, we haven't a prayer when we play somebody decent

I'm not sure if that is true, or why not just put out the kids?

Hope that is all it is....need to be on it for Sunday.

For me it's the full backs I'm afraid. Vertonghen and Alderweiled have looked so solid in the league but it all goes to sh*t in this competition on a regular basis. Even Qarabag were causing us problems.

I said at the beginning of the season that Trippier and Davies lack the pace and mobility to work in a pochettino system, and I stand by that.

No that's my point. Under Harry we just played the kids and that confirmed that we weren't interested whatsoever. Since then we've tended to play relatively strong teams which would suggest that the senior management have high expectations for the competition. It's the players who apparently don't share that enthusiasm.

I know some people think there should be no complaints, but three major games in six days!...

So which competition should we prioritise? The league to try and qualify for the champions league which we have even less chance of winning?
