Der!
Due to the popularity of this theme on the Derby v QPR thread, I thought I'd start a fresh one.

Rules: 1) You HAVE to have been to the nominated place(s). 2) No looking up the towns on Google.

In no particular order and with apologies to anyone that may live there:

1) Swansea
2) Cardiff
3) Paisley
4) Newcastle Under Lyme
5) Stoke
6) Colchester
7) Basildon
8) Hemel Hempstead
9) Blackburn
10) Bristol
11) Luton
12) Stevenage
13) Dalston
14) Woolwich
15) East Ham
16) Newport Gwent
17) Stockport
18) Sunderland
19) Ramsgate
20) Lowestoft

I could go on (and probably will).

Kettering and Hinckley for starters both backward ****holes whose town mottos I expect to be 'keep it in the family'

Wolverhampton - Too many mullets

1. Hull
2. Hull
3. Hull
4. Hull
5. Hull

I'm sure that there are some very nice people living in and around the city, but in my 3 football related visits I've never had any interaction with them

7. Merthyr Tydfil

Only place I've ever been threatened for having an English accent (by a couple of very pissed up locals who clearly didn't like the fact that I had a car that was less than 10 years old and wasn't sporting a pair of pound shop white socks)

In no order (apart from the top one, which is by far worse place I've been in Britain)

Blackburn/Darwen
Dover
Margate
Luton
Croydon
Southall
Wembley High Street
Leicester
Birminham (city centre is ok, but the outlying suburbs are generally dross IMO)
Middlesborough
Sunderland
Cardiff
Wrexham
Bradford
Cumbernauld
Port Glasgow
Larkhall
Drumchapel
Motherwell
Blantyre
Shettleston
Coalisland
Coleraine

And of course, SW6...

Apologies to anyone who lives/knows anyone in these areas - just an opinion!

I could do a list solely in Greater London, in no particular order...

Canning Town
Dagenham
Clapton
Kidbrooke
Thamesmead
Plumstead
Enfield
Tottenham Hale
Harlesden
Beddington
Bethnal Green
North Peckham
Rotherhithe

I could go on but it's depressing...

From the air the UK is beautiful
There are pockets all over that I find difficult and it's not about a chav culture . Generally people are far friendlier in the north ... Nice white southern market towns are equally bad IMO where people use Waitrose as a church
Avonmouth was mentioned and I agree it hasn't a lot going for it
I buy my fishing bait in Crawley on the way down south to my roots in rural East Sussex and that looks like Hell here are there . Use to play against Crawley Town and its wasn't a bad place ... Now a mess
The Medway towns in Kent are not places I like
My home village of Rushlake Green is now full of London money and company Audis.
Brighton is full of people trying too hard again not clever people just London money who were born into pure luck ... These people infect the rest just because they sold a mock Tudor semi for a million quid they think they are smart and then buy the same ****e house for 33% plus a Hove flat and they consider themselves brilliant business people
These are the very scum I want dead
The ones that then interview tenants as if it was a job interview ... Up the monthly rental for a place full of IKEA carboard .... This will in fact ruin many places in the south IMO

So it's the people IMO not the places
And Redrow won't stop building in the south which can't take the people it has now . The South will become a ****ing getto albeit a Farrow and Ball one .

I got out a long time back
I can tell you France has terrible places inside its cities as people flock to work places. Leaving behind empty but peaceful rural property that people like me buy and live in

Work/Life balance is everything IMO

I credit the people who can live in some of the U.K. Places mentioned.and live with a smile on their faces. Genuine people are easy to spot and I respect them but it's getting harder. I work out of London in Horsham at times and witness zombies who wear bake off X factor come dancing masks ... Who seem to find it impossible to talk with any sincerity anymore. The masks are what they are masks behind them are pigs

I am a southern gypo and far more respect Northern people
If there are better people than the Irish show me

Back to your impenetrable best, Radish.
