He won't be stupid enough to keep doing it. If he did then surely we could terminate his contract. I would imagine a footballers contract is full of stipulations due to the nature of the job and the massive wages. The club would no doubt love an opportunity to get rid of him for nothing.

I thought that too, but then i remembered who gave him his contract and now i wouldn't be too confident that it's in there.

Hull City have enough on BULLARD already to get rid but if they do then it will open up a can of worms the club dont want opening. But yes, those I want to play words are so hollow its seams again.

If this is the case then City will have problems shifting him. OR is it better to let him carry on doing this and keep fining him 2 weeks wages ? whatever, its all getting very tiresome now.
Hehe just fine him every week and get him to play for nothing! Seriously though the fact we are still lumbered with him Mcshane kilbane and Ghilas is holding Pearsons development of the team back, I hope people cut him a bit of slack for this if things don't go great this season, if we'd have shifted these players I think we would be looking at quite a different squad already.

They aren't included in the budget given to the Pearsons, so financially they're making no difference to the team.

Obviously this only came from Ehab Allam, no credible source such as those being cited in here.

I don't think the Allams will be cutting him much slack either, for what they've invested they'll expect a return. They haven't spent all that money to have a mid-table championship team.

Cheers for that Percy, that puts a different slant on it. This isn't addressed to you but I'm hoping fans give Pearson a bit of leeway till he has completely his own lads playing for him as I don't think Bullard is fully committed, Mcshane is crap, and Kilbane is past it probably. I hope Oli can contribute a bit though.

They'll be "very disappointed if we don't make the top six".

Is that from the Ehab Allam interview? I've not listened to it but i heard it implied that sort of expectation, then again didn't the AP interview say that he wasn't expecting play-offs?

I think we will make the top six going on progression from last year, remains to be seen though if the lack of Gerrard will have an impact. If our home form had been half as good as the away from we would have been laughing last year, not to mention the bad start due to all the uncertainty surrounding the club and squad, and Pearsons late arrival due to costs.

Yeah that was a direct quote. He was also adamant that they wouldn't subsidise players wages, and it sounded like he wanted Bullard to play for us next season, his attitude couldn't be more different to AP's.

Everything you've just said is what Adam Pearson said.

I'll be disappointed if we don't make the top 6. Everyone will. I still wouldn't sack Nigel Pearson though, not unless we're really awful.
