Very disappointing news - I thought that Tim was doing a great job at Villa :1980_boogie_down:

Hoping that the Sunderland win against Newcastle was just a flash in the pan as they deserve to go down with the Villa

I fear though that Bournemouth are finding the Premier increasingly hard going, and I expect them to go down :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Bournemouth are a tad unlucky - I think it is 4 players out or the season with serious knee ligament type injures including Callum Wilson who was scoring for fun.
Hoping that Sherwood's sacking is a kick up the arse for Ramsey and the players - a reminder that they all need to pull their socks up we are to do anything this season. I also keep my fingers crossed that we do not look to employ Sherwood in any capacity. He was dealt a somewhat tough hand when he had to sell Benteke - no one else is going to score that any goals for the Villa.

Do you honestly believe that players/managers think in that way? It won't make any difference at all. They have just won 3-0 so at the moment they are invincible!

I said from the beginning he wouldn't last long, thought he got lucky last season. I think managers should work their way into top jobs through lower leagues and get experience first. This also explains why Ramsey is struggling. There will always be exceptions but it is a high risk strategy by owners.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sir Les brought him to Loftus Road to work alongside Sir Alf.

If so, I suspect it would be a case of history repeating itself ala Houston and Rioch. And it will probably end the same way too.

:(

We've already got one of the two Chuckle brothers. Let's complete the set.

Maybe they could set up a footballing brains trust. They could sit around a table and thrash it out ... Ferdinand, Ramsey, Warnock, and Sherwood to be joined by McClaren in a couple of weeks time.

I think Warnock is the odd man out there. He's proven he can cut it.
